Long standing sponsors still backing Knowle FC

In the sponsor spotlight today, we have one of the club’s longest standing supporters, PGS Global. Knowle Football Club would like to extend a big thank you to PGS Global for generously sponsoring our Girls U18 Wasps and Boys U15 Lions teams this season. Your support means the world to us, helping us perform our best on the pitch while PGS continues to deliver exceptional service on the roads.

PGS is a versatile transport and warehousing company that has been a leader in the industry for over 35 years. Founded by Paul Eyles, the company has developed a dynamic and efficient system for product delivery and storage, making it a trusted partner for various sectors.

With a fleet over 100 owned vehicles, PGS Global handles a wide range of services, from small parcels to large pallets, all within the PGS umbrella. The company’s headquarters in Kitts Green boasts the capacity to house 15,000 pallets.

Further solidifying its commitment to sustainability, GS has invested in an eco-powered hub at Brandon Way which has a 12,500 pallet capacity. The hub is powered by solar panels and a 500kw battery storage, representing the company’s ongoing dedication to carbon-neutral service.

The club’s Commercial Manager, Sam Smith explained “PGS are one of our most committed partners, having sponsored a team over a number of years now. Working with local businesses over a sustained period of time gives us the security and confidence to plan for teams over long term, hence the Wasps and Lions have both developed over time and are now the senior teams of our respective girls and boys sections. We’re really grateful to PGS for their backing over the years!”

With the U18 Wasps aging out our junior football at the end of this season, the PGS shirt will be the last Knowle shirt some of those players own; very fitting, considering the support they have offered the club. Thank you PGS!
