Sponsors Jackson are delighted to support the growth of female football

Kicking off our first sponsor spotlight of the new season, let us introduce you to Jackson Electrical who sponsor our U14 Robins!

Last weekend, owner Richard Jackson presented the new kit and hoodies to the girls as they started their season with a home game against West Brom at Hampton Road.

Jackson Electrical are a family run business and have been in the industry for over twenty years. Although they’re based local to the Knowle area, Jackson work nationwide, carrying out all kinds of electrical works on commercial, industrial and retail settings. You can get in touch with them on 0121 647 3721, or find their website here - www.jackson-electrical.co.uk

This is the fourth year that Jackson have sponsored the Robins in some format and from a club perspective it’s amazing to have these long-term relationships backing us. Richard told us “It’s been a joy to watch the team grow from strength to strength over the years. With women’s football being ever more popular and as a dad with three daughters, it’s great to see opportunities for girls becoming more equal now. As a sponsor, it’s an honour to play a part in that and help these young women in their passion”.

The Robins play in the Premier Division of the CWGFL and this season will be their first at 11v11. They have enjoyed having the opportunity to play at Hampton Road already, and we have no doubt the bigger pitches and plenty of space will suit their style of football! Everyone involved with the team and the wider club would like to thank Richard and Jackson Electrical for their fantastic support. Girls Secretary Jim Dowding said “We really appreciate the support from Jackson Electrical. Committed sponsors like Jackson help us to continue building female football provision at Knowle FC where we’re home to over 160 young female footballers. That’s almost double since Jackson came on board as sponsor!”

Keep eyes on our pages to see how the Robins fare this season and drop Jacksons a like and a follow, plus bear them in mind for any electrical services you or your business may require!
