Knowle confirm third summer addition as midfielder Will Steward signs up
Will Steward joins Knowle after an eye-catching season at Fairfield Villa
Knowle FC are delighted to confirm Will Steward has joined the club as our third signing of the summer window.
Steward, primarily a midfielder but known for his versatility, adds further quality and versatility to Matt and Clive Seeley’s squad ahead of our first campaign in United Counties Premier South.
Voted Manager’s Player of the Season at Fairfield Villa last term, he was a regular starter and made 28 appearances during their trophy-laden campaign in which they lifted both the Worcester County Cup and Coventry Charity Cup. Steward scored the winning goal in the latter to secure a 2-1 victory over Central Ajax in the final.
Steward will link up with the squad when they return for pre-season training ahead of friendlies against Boldmere St. Michaels, National League side Solihull Moors and AFC Solihull before our league campaign begins with a home fixture against FC Stratford on Sunday, July 26 (11:30am).
